CDC-Develop, Implement, and Sustain High Quality Comprehensive HIV Cascade Activities for Children, Adolescents, and Adults in Facility and Community Based Settings in Cameroon under PEPFAR (Atteindre95)
Under EGPAF’s leadership, ASDF is responsible for direct service delivery for Atteindre95 project that covers close to 75 CDC/PEPFAR supported health facilities in the Littoral and South regions of Cameroon. As of September 30, 2024, ADF employed over 200 health facility level staff and served around 85,099 people living with HIV and on treatment in the two regions.
ASDF’s responsibilities span across the 95/95/95 cascade in the two regions. Priority activities include implementing high yield case finding at both facility and community level, streamlining index case testing, improving prevention and testing services in the first 95. In the second 95 priorities activities are to implement ART initiation and immediate linkage to care with escorts and proper referral; support initiation of all newly identified HIV positive and improve retention of PLHIV in care. For the third 95, priority include mapping and sampling all eligible patients for viral load testing in the health facility and in the community and support sample viral load collection and provide counseling to children and adolescents.
Global Consortium of Nursing and Midwifery Studies (GCNMS) in the conduct of research studies of the nursing and midwifery workforces

ASDF participates as a member of the Global Consortium of Nursing and Midwifery Studies (GCNMS) in the conduct of research studies of the nursing and midwifery workforces in Cameroon.
Responsibilities include completion of survey data collection, contributions to data analyses and translation of qualitative data.
Breast Cancer Awareness
ASDF in partnership with Standard Chartered Bank in Cameroon organized a very successful breast cancer awareness event on October 10, 2024 at its headquarters in Yaoundé.
The Scientific panel moderated by Professor Mboudou Emile, Director General of the Gynecological, Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital of Douala (HGOPED), brought together the collaboration of some of Cameroon’s most renowned experts on the subject matter and covered topics such as General information about breast cancer; Difficulties in accessing cancer treatments; Breast Cancer Clinical Experience; Socio-anthropological aspects of breast cancer; Ministry of Health’s strategies and challenges against breast cancer and testimonies from breast cancer survivors.
